For the 100 retail clients of e-commerce software vendor MarketLive, Q1 mobile revenue rose 47% compared to last year, and phone and tablets will likely drive half of all traffic to its clients’ sites, according to MarketLive’s quarterly performance index.

MarketLive’s performance index report didn’t name its clients, but they are known to include Design Within Reach, Modell’s, Fossil Inc., Aveeno, and Helzberg Diamonds. These are brick-and-mortar retailers that have fully embraced operations across all channels and, the vendor reports, have seen double-digit growth for six straight quarters.
